I OFFER YOGA THAT HELPS YOU FIND BALANCE AND THE ABILITY TO SUSTAIN YOURSELF.

This is yoga for those who are looking for something that is creative, intuitive, enquiring and empathetic. My teaching focuses on the process of getting to know your body and yourself with curiosity, clarity and equanimity. I also offer body psychotherapy that works with the emotional responses in the body.

HELLO, I'M NI

After working for over a decade managing projects in the non-profit and social enterprise sectors, I came to the realisation that true sustainability begins with us - implementing change in our community and environment cannot happen without change within.

I have a 500-hour certification registered under Yoga Alliance, 1250-hour mentorship with Yogi Nomad (Nepal), and have trained in Pre- and Post Natal Yoga with Mindful Birth (Australia). I have also completed my foundational training in Trauma Sensitive Yoga with the Trauma Centre (Brookline, Massachusetts), and in Embodied Relational Therapy (ERT) - a branch of body psychotherapy.

SHANKHA

(Śaṇkha) Noun

Shankha refers to the conch depicted in Hinduism and Buddhism. When viewed from its apex, this ritual object spirals in a direction that can be both clockwise and counter-clockwise, reflecting an equilibrium in nature - something innate in ourselves and our greater reality.
